While the focus / mission of Association events is to memorialize the fallen, participants may chose to solicit support for beneficiaries selected by their event that are dear to them and with causes related to our mission.

The Ray Pfeifer Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to assisting September 11th first responders, firefighters and police, with medical needs not covered by insurance. The foundation was established in memory of Ray Pfeifer, a NYC firefighter who died on May 28, 2017 from 9/11 cancer. Ray never stopped putting the needs of others before his own. He was a leading force in lobbying to extend the Zadroga Act through 2090, ensuring health care coverage for 75,000 people
who need, or will need, treatment for health conditions developed as a direct result of 9/11 exposure.

1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team founded by retired NYC Firefighter Tim Duffy who is a US Navy veteran and FDNY 9/11 Survivor. He has a passion for those who suffer from PTSD and Dogs. He combined those passions by training dogs in need of a home with veterans suffering from PTSD to give both of them something they desperately need... each other!

The Mission of Believe 271 is to provide financial assistance to Volunteer Firefighters, EMT's and members of Ladies Auxiliary in Oneida and Herkimer County who suffer from a life threatening illness, such as cancer.

The Louisiana Heroes Project is non-profit organization that proudly supports our Louisiana military, veterans, wounded, first responders and their families. Metroplex Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal criteria. Furthermore, C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public of the need to support the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

The United States Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the tax-exempt, nonprofit Foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor our fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers.
The Association of Memorial Stair Climbs sanctioned event, The CNY Memorial Stair Climb, played a pivotal role in getting a "Brink Project" started to honor the first responders who have lost their lives post 9/11. The Surviving Spouse And Family Endowment Fund provides the comfort of financial support for the surviving spouses and dependents or, in their absence, the parents of sworn law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel who lose their life in the performance of their duties. The employing agency, at the time of death of said public safety officers, must be headquartered within the geographic boundaries of the SAFE program as defined in the current bylaws. The mission of the Texas Line of Duty Death Task Force is to provide excellent, compassionate, and immediate care to those who have been injured in the line of duty and to the families of those who have died in the line of duty. We also provide caring and objective assistance to departments who have suffered a line of duty injury or death of a member.

Since 2005, the nonprofit Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN) has provided assistance and one-on-one mentoring to thousands of cancer-stricken firefighters and their families. FCSN also delivers extensive firefighter cancer awareness and prevention training nationwide.

It is the mission of The Wyman organization to assist the Town of Whitestown in the construction of a memorial park honoring the life of Oneida County Deputy Sheriff Kurt B. Wyman who was killed in the line of duty on June 7, 2011. The park will be used by the community to help ensure his legacy is kept alive with a memorial monument and multiple sports fields serving as a tribute to Kurt’s love for children and his passion for the game of soccer.

The central focus of the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation is assisting the families of firefighters in their times of greatest need, in transporting firefighters, family members and department personnel to and from medical institutions both for care and family support. Through donations, the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation has acquired a fleet of vehicles that are commissioned to the Fire Department and are available around the clock to provide transportation services throughout the City of New York.

The Dallas Foundation is the oldest community foundation in the state, and no one knows the Dallas community like we do. The Dallas Foundation is involved in a variety of forward-looking, impact-driving initiatives around North Texas. The Dallas climb chose this beneficiary as a way to funnel funds to the families of five Dallas Police Officers killed in the line of duty on July 5, 2016.

The Safety Net of Missouri provides needed support and financial assistance to the spouses and children of all local law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and correction officers, who have lost their lives performing their duty. Deaths from natural causes, illnesses or injuries are outside the organization’s scope.
